Re: i30 worth it or not?
i30 come with 1.4, 1.6 & 2.0 engine, for SG only 1.6. But KMC stop selling it already. 2nd hand market not much also, can only find 9 on sgcarmart.

well i guess with the current coe, by adding a few Ks more, they are able to get a 1.6.

Actually different not much from 1.1 to 1.6. But always buy within ur range lor. Higher cc more power, comfort, shiok, looks not priceless, must Pay And Pay...

Re: i30 worth it or not?
i agree with you, i was driving a 2.0 car before switching to 1.4 getz. There was a big difference but after a couple of months i get used to it and love the size of the car...easy to park as well.
Not to mention the saving, now i can spend more on other and i still have a car to drive and the saving is few hundreds buck per month and the money go to my child education and stuffs.

Re: i30 worth it or not?
yup but most people when they are used to higher cc, it abit difficult for them to down size.
I did it because i rather have more money in my pocket since a car is just a car imho.
but the down size is when the car is having 5 full grown size with a baby pram behind the boot, the back passenger lap become the storage space.. hahah

Must be hard for u to downgrade so much, from 2.0 to 1.4. Y never get the 1.6 Getz or other model?

Re: i30 worth it or not?
How about engine? I will strongly recommend u to change the throttle body to BBTB and CAI. It will make the car smooth and lighter to move off.

Re: i30 worth it or not?
no nothing done, except changing of rim to 16" that all.
If i want to change, i would have change it earlier not till when the car is left with 2 years cycle.
That is also the reason now 'm wondering if i want to change my absorber as it still working fine.

Re: i30 worth it or not?
talk about fuel, when i first change my ride from a 2.0 to 1.3.
My FC fare very badly, i think about 5-6km/ltr...it was only after awhile that i found out that it my driving habit.
It because when i step on the gas, the car don't seem to move and always have problem over taking and thus always stepping more to get the feel.
But after 4 months, i begin to face the reality and told myself, come on it a 1.3 and i don't expect it to behave like a 2.0.
hahah...

Re: i30 worth it or not?
5 to 6km/l? It's very very bad... Unless ur car got snail inside. I tot mine with abit of mod & 15" rim getting 8 to 10 already very bad.

Re: i30 worth it or not?
Oic. 1.3 FC usually is around 8 to 10. Unless very light footer, maybe can get 11 or 12, with 14" rim then off air-con most of the time.
